We’re looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to join our mobile team. You’ll work on impactful projects, building intuitive and scalable cross-platform mobile applications that push boundaries and deliver real value. If you're passionate about mobile-first experiences and React Native development with TypeScript, this is the role for you.
This is a hybrid position based in Cluj-Napoca, combining the flexibility of remote work with the energy of in-person collaboration.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality cross-platform applications using React Native and TypeScript
- Ensure consistent and performant user experiences across iOS and Android
- Manage app deployment pipelines to the App Store and Google Play, including provisioning and release management
- Build and maintain custom native modules using Swift and Kotlin, where required
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement features end-to-end
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that aligns with industry standards
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Monitor performance and debug issues in production environments
- Bonus: Experience with Amazon Appstore and/or Chromebook app development is a plus
Job qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with React Native in production environments
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, application lifecycle, and state management
- Proven experience with mobile release pipelines on both iOS and Android
- Familiarity with profiling, debugging, and optimizing mobile app performance
- Experience collaborating within Agile product teams
- Self-starter with the ability to own features from ideation through delivery
Technical skills
- Languages & Frameworks: React Native, TypeScript, Expo & Expo Router
- Platforms & Stores: iOS, Android, App Store, Google Play
- Native Modules: Swift, Kotlin
- Libraries & Tools: Expo (strong experience here is a big plus), TailwindCSS, React Query (or similar async state tools)
- Mobile Capabilities: Push Notifications, Deep Linking, In-App Payments
- CI/CD & Deployment: any of EAS, Codemagic, Bitrise (or equivalent)

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for user experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Eager to stay current with trends in mobile development and React Native ecosystem
- Solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
